Wet Net Outfitters was formed to provide the finest fly fishing trips in Southwest Montana. We do this through finding the fishiest guides and targeting a range of waters when they are fishing at their peak.
We have a portfolio of private waters and off the beaten path rivers that provide our guests with a secluded experience and unpressured fish, resulting in a unique adventure only available through Wet Net Outfitters.
Meet Pierce Oja
Owner & Guide | Wet Net Outfitters
I am Pierce Oja and the owner/outfitter of Wet Net Outfitters. I began fly fishing as a youngster and working in fly shops at 15. At 18, I was guiding and could not imagine a different profession. I have now spent over a decade working in the fly fishing industry. With a degree in biochemistry, I approach fishing with a variable limiting, scientific approach to best discern how to catch fish. I have a passion for fishing and my greatest joy is getting to show my guests something new whether it be techniques, casting, or new water.
As a sixth generation Montanan I have grown up with an appreciation for solitude and great fishing. I try to provide these luxuries with my guests through private water leases and exploring lesser-known freestones aboard specialized rafts to navigate the lower flows. That said, when the Yellowstone or Missouri Rivers are fishing well it is hard not to visit these famous rivers!
